Hiya! I have a just for fun card to share today.

I have a little pail on my desk where I put snippets of things to use later. As luck would have it, several of those snippets all worked together. So this card basically made itself! The heart and scallop borders are by PTI, the file tab from PPP and that sweet hugs is a die by IO. Some of my favorite ever October Afternoon paper for the flowers and of course, a good dose of polka dots!

Hope you like it. Thanks for visiting!

Precious Remembrance Shop Design It Monday!

Hey there sweet peeps! I hope you had a lovely weekend. It's my turn to post on the PRS blog. Pop over to check out my  fun black and white card. While you're there, check out the pretty new colors of buttons that have been added to the shop!

Have a delightful day!

Hey there! Sharing a little love today with my card for the Inspired By All the Little Things challenge.

I was indeed inspired by all of those lovely little things in this photo! The polka dots (of course!), the bicycle decorated with lots of love and that little bit of greenery. This bicycle stamp, an oldie but a goodie by PSX, was one of my first purchases! I layered it up with PTI hearts and some love by IO. Those tiny sprigs are from a PPP holiday set and the impression plate is getting it's first run today!

Thanks so much for stopping by. It's always good to hear from you!

CC #85 ~ Rustic Blooms!

Hello friends! Thank you to everyone for your comments, emails and prayers for my dad. He's home now and doing well. He'll be enjoying the super bowl tonight in the comfort of his own home under the loving care of my mom!

Now how about a card, shall we! This one is for the rustic blooms challenge at The Card Concept.

I stamped the lovely PTI blooms onto a kraft card base. The Queen Anne's lace was heat embossed using Hero Arts white embossing powder. After die cutting the panel, I scored it to mimic the wood from the inspiration photo. The vellum and round opening are a nod to the glass bottles and little round table.

My card is a combination of two styles. It's clean and layered, but I also think it falls under the category of Classic and Elegant. Hmm, what do you think?

So long January...here comes February! What better way to bid farewell to a month than with a 12 Kits of Occasions post! Jeanne is our hostess this month bringing with her three very special guest designers. She sent us a frosty kit {Snow Day} filled to the brim with a flurry of snowflakes. I went a little gaga over the patterned paper she included...well just see for yourselves!

A ME die cut kraft panel and some touches of warm brown ink were all this one needed.

Aren't these stitched snowflakes delightful! They go so well with the adorable snowmen on the patterned paper. I sprinkled on a few PPP Ballerina Pink sequins just of fun.

ME and PPP die cuts frame the pretty skates. I used an embossing pen on the skate blades then embossed with liquid platinum powder.

This one is a bit out of my box, but I wanted to try something different. The snowflake wreath was the inpsiration for the layered circles. I sprinkled on more PPP sequins here too because...well, why not!! Who doesn't love extra sparkle!

I turned the die cut tag into a shaker filling it with the iridescent sequins from the kit. More of those sweet patterned papers take center stage so I'll add the sentiment to the inside.

I'm off to check out what the team and our guest designers have to share. Can't wait!!
