CCC #212 ~ May All Good Things...

Hello, hello! When I saw the cue word for this week's CASology was fun, I knew I had a few stamps that would work. After looking through them, I decided this one was the most fun!

I mean come on, what's more fun than a cute bunny rabbit driving a topiary VW bug!! And a convertible at that!! This stamp is by Art Gone Wild and the sentiment is an older SU stamp. I added some Pretty Pink Posh Marshmallow Sequins (4mm & 6mm) for some subtle bling. The clouds were made by embossing my dies and they were a pain to get them to show up in the photograph. Hubby helped me out. What a guy I have, wouldn't trade him for anything in this world!!

Thanks for taking a peek! ~Lisa

cQc #356 ~ Faith, Hope, Love

Hiya sweet peeps! Today is Tuesday and that means a new palette from ColourQ! This card was created specifically for my sister-in-law who is in need of prayer right now. It's on it's way to her as I type this post. I hope she feels the love that comes along with it.

This started with my little hydrangea stamp I picked up in Cape Cod a few years ago. I'll never forget the beautiful blue hydrangea bushes I saw on Nantucket. When I found it in the neatest stamp store in Hyannis, I new I had to have it. It's by Inkadinkado and I just love it!! I stamped it repeatedly to create my own patterned paper then gave it a striped and blue border. Both borders were cut using Pretty Pink Posh Stitched Borders 2 (straight line stitch) and 4 (scallop) dies. The sentiment (Hero Arts) was stamped onto Blackberry Bliss paper and embossed in white. The paper looks black here, but I promise it's Blackberry Bliss!! To mimic the sparkle in the inspiration photo, I added PPP Sparkling Clear sequins (4mm & 6mm).

You know you want to play along after seeing these pretty colors..am I right!! Can't wait to see your card in our gallery. Have a great day ~Lisa

Precious Remembrance Shop/Clique Kit Hop!

Hello and welcome! Design team members from Precious Remembrance Shop and Clique Kits are joining together today for a blog hop! We are featuring the PRS {Totally Stamp Set} and the Clique Kits {August Kit}. You have a chance to win a Clique Kits $20.00 gift certificate to the shop and Precious Remembrance Totally Stamp Set. Winners will be chosen by comments left on the blogs.

You should be arriving here from Kim Oedekoven's blog. The complete hop list below. All info can be found on the PRS and CK blogs. I have five cards to share today...five, I know right!!!!

First up I used journaling cards and parts of bow die cuts along with some sentiments from the Totally stamp set. Isn't the citrus tin pin fun!

Speaking of fun, look at this cute pineapple! I die cut this piece to turn it into a shaker. I added some seed beads to the kit sequins. The shaker was popped onto a leafy background with more sentiments added to the speech bubbles.

For this one, I stamped the border repeatedly onto the striped journaling card. This die cut circle (stamped with the brush stroke) was left over from one of my Design It Monday cards. The pre-cut sentiment was added to the stamped sentiment turning them both into something special!

This one started with the black and white floral paper. The large 'totally' sentiment was stamped then coated generously with Wink of Stella. The parrot was die cut, then invalid into the floral panel. I coated the beak with Wink of Stella too! After stamping 'really', I overstamped it with the brush stroke to make it pop a bit more.

And finally, I couldn't resist using this piece from the kit! Isn't that sentiment a hoot!! I stamped and embossed the border across the top of it. Then I stamped the same border onto the card base. I added the trio of words from the Totally stamp set. I think they work perfectly here.

Okay friends that's it for me. Thanks for sticking around through this lengthy post!! Up next is Candace Perkinds. Happy hopping!!

cQc #355 ~ Grateful for You!

Hello! It's time for a new palette from ColourQ! I can not even begin to tell you the anxiety this card gave me. My first attempt was to watercolor some roses under the circle. It was a disaster of epic proportion LOL!! Then I tried a combination of stamped and die cut flowers failing miserably. Tried something else, then something else and finally ended up with this!

The church (PTI), clouds (A Muse), hill (Stitched Borders 1: Pretty Pink Posh) polka dot sky and sentiment (Simon Says Stamps) never changed, thank goodness! I reached for some stamps I haven't used in a very long time. They are little stick stamps from Stamps by Judith. Some of my earliest purchases! I added Pretty Pink Posh sparkling clear sequins (4mm & 6mm) for a touch of pizazz. There are still a couple of things that I'm not happy with, the perfectionist in me haha!! But over all it's not too bad.

You know we love it when you play along with us.
Now go get busy with these pretty colors! ~Lisa

I Love You!

Happy Saturday! I'm popping in today with a card featuring more newly released products from Pretty Pink Posh

I've used the super sweet Fox and Friends Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies for this card. I created this little scene using some fun decorative paper cut with the Mini Storybook 1 Die. The sentiment block is popped up with foam tape and decorated with Fresh Mint Sequins (4mm & 6mm). To ground the design, I added one of the new Scallop Borders Dies that I am in love with!! And finally, for some added sweetness, a pearl adorned bow.

Remember you have until Aug. 17th to visit all of the PPP new release blog hop designers and leave comments for your chance to win one of (4) $25 gift certificates from PPP! I hope you enjoy a lovely weekend. ~Lisa
